Cameron is the worst person I have ever met. Dresses like a 24yr old in the prime of his life yet looks 99.. lol. I literally own the same Fox shirt and unlike you can ride a 450yz. And hit jumps Can he😂. He also hires lets say dark ppl to do laundry on Ocean X. Down the very lower decks. "Hot, no air. No sunlight, never lets them go to shore or swim. And the pay..... $680 euro a month.... Also James cameron is a complete sleeze and no one knows. It makes me laugh. I worked on his yacht along with my good friend a young very kind stewardess. She was fired by cameron for quote "coughing in front of guests"... He knows this she is a chief stew Australian pro in the yacting sphere. The whole yacting industry knows about it as she was/is a top worker. The little tool is a tyrant. And not only fired a 19yr old but abused her and dumped her on a random wharf in Capri.. Ask anyone in the industry.....

The interviewer is funny and doesn't know it. They're sitting there like 'ah hu...ah hu...ah hu'...sometimes while the interviewee still in mid-sentence. That's when you know someone is drifting, their mind is drifting, when they start 'ah hu'ing' you before you've even made your point...'ah hu'ing' is a made-up word.

Great video, but I wanted to know how you managed to contact James Cameron. I've been trying for weeks because I have a film about him. Please, if you read this comment, could you give me a phone number or an email address? It would help me a lot. Thank you.

I have watched Tár a ridiculous amount of times. Cate gave so much to that role, I don't feel like I'm watching a film.. it's like I'm peeking into places that I would never see. Experiencing the gray areas in Lydia's life. Is she a good person? I can't decide. And to top it all off, amazing moments from the from the orchestral pit. I think this is one of Cates best roles.

I have a production company who tells me that MGM is wanting a Screenplay series I wrote. I would like to find a way to contact MGM myself and get a non-disclosure agreement and send the pilot. I have been told that besides MGM Amazon, HBO Max and another company is interested. I am asking for a way to take this further. This is a one of a kind screenplay. Thank you JR

That's why it's so important to follow Aaron Sorkin's writing advice for action description. He said action description should read almost as long as it would take on screen. So if the scene is a guy walking down a hallway, and you want to build suspense, you wouldn't write "Dave walks down the hallway." You would write, "Dave slowly walks down the hallway, taking moments to stop and listen. When it seems safe, he continues. As he gets closer to the end, however, a dark thunder clap echoes throughout the house." Terrible description, but you see what I mean.

Nobody will read your script and "great" scripts don't just magically get in the right hands. That guy is not honest. Black list is a business. The more you pay, the more reviews you get. That doesn't mean it will translate into sales. Yes relationships, meaning if you're not in the circle and don't have a relationship with those people, you don't have access. "Get it to someone who does have relationships..." That is cirular reasoning. "Eventually it will get to the right person". RIDICULOUS. Your best chance is to make your script more than a script. Make it a project and bring what you have to a film market.

Funny seeing Dave Eggers discussing structure with the Coens because I always think the Coens talk about writing seems very much like ADHD (get lost, series of adventures, then find some way to tie it all together) and Dave Eggers HBWOSG is like an ADHD novel the way it indulges so many tangents via footnotes.

People need to stop bashing his Avatar films and the creator himself, because this is getting overboard as they didn’t understand and pay attention to Avatar, same thing to the Terminator duology and Aliens they praise the heck out them. All they see it as just a generic environmental film, a “ripoff” of Pocahontas, Dances with Wolves, Ferngully, The Last Samurai, and The Lorax and The Smurfs (even though they’ve come out 2-3 years after Avatar) and a preachy cash grab, and nothing more to it. All they wanted was just a campy monster movie with humans killing aliens, and that’s it.
